An improvement on the stilted Touch, Just Us has a number of fine moments, including the pining “(I Wish It Could Always Be) ’55” and the K.T. Oslin duet “Face to Face,” but it falls short of being a complete return to form, mainly because it is weighed down with too much mediocre material.
