Although he is chiefly remembered as an actor and voice-over specialist, SCATMAN CROTHERS also enjoyed a parallel career in music, which actually predated his acting career by a couple of decades.

An experienced singer/drummer/guitarist, he’d been working since the early 1930s and was famously one of the first vocalists to improvise nonsense syllables to jazz tunes, hence the nickname ‘Scat Man’.

This compilation features his collectable 1956 LP ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll with Scat Man’, plus seventeen ‘bonus tracks’.
