  I’ve been going to Mule/Warren/ABB shows for 30+ years, and these records represent my favorite Mule era. Woody was still alive, and they were the baddest heavy metal psychedelic blues band on the planet. My wife likes to joke about this era by calling it “Hippy Punk Rock”. Too bad that the plague will most likely cause Warren’s Xmas Jam here in Asheville to be cancelled again this year….
