Gene Clark & Chris Hillman, team up as Flyte at California s Palomino Club in 1982. As founder members of the Byrds, Gene Clark and Chris Hillman will need no introduction to fans of folk-rock, country-rock or singer-songwriting. In 1982 the legendary singer-guitarists teamed up with Herb Pedersen (guitar / banjo), Al Perkins (steel guitar) and Trey Thompson (bass) to form the short-lived Flyte. These two superb sets were broadcast on KPFK-FM at California s best-known country music venue, the Palomino Club, and find them tackling a range of material spanning the Byrds, Dillard & Clark, the Flying Burrito Brothers and their solo careers.
