Limited to 2000 copies – one of a kind pressing worldwide.

Al Stewart’s sixty-year music career has made him one of the most successful folk-rock artists the British Isles have ever produced. “The Admiralty Lights” illuminates how a skiffle-crazy kid from Bournemouth conquered the world

“The Admiralty Lights” is the new career-spanning, definitive collection of Al Stewart’s work. The 50-disc set follows the legendary singer-songwriter from his humble beginnings in 1964, through his worldwide fame in the 1970s, to his final recordings in 2009

The new deluxe box set includes Al’s complete 21 studio albums, remastered from the original tapes, housed in original sleeves and lovingly presented in luxurious LP cases. Also included are 18 discs of never-before-heard live concert recordings from 1970 to 2009, 3 discs of rare BBC sessions from 1965 to 1972, and 8 discs of demos, outtakes and rarities that offer a rare glimpse into Mr. Stewart’s world

At the heart of this spectacular package is a beautiful 160-page hardcover coffee table book with extensive annotations by author and Al Stewart expert Neville Judd, as well as previously unpublished photos, flyers and ephemera from his illustrious career. Attentive fans will recognize the masterful handwriting of Colin Elgie, who contributed a visually stunning original illustration for the box’s outer cover, having previously collaborated with Al on his Year of The Cat album

Rounding out this smorgasbord of Al Stewart delights is a “Year of the Cat” print signed by Colin Elgie, three posters, including a 24-page collector’s book specially designed by Colin Elgie that lists all the rare recordings in the set.

Magnificent! Thank you. Btw…part 5 needs to be unpacked separately (probably because the file needs to be renamed) as it doesn’t upzip with the other parts. Not an issue as parts 1-4 contain the music, part 5 is the artwork and book so part 5 can be done separately. Either way, a wonderful collection. Thanks again!
