LA psych outfit Mystic Braves, who look and sound like they were just teleported from 1967, will release their new album, Days of Yesteryear, on November 6. The band made the record with current Brian Jonestown Massacre guitarist Rob Campanella who has also twiddled knobs for Beachwood Sparks, Dead Meadow and others. The album is pure niche. It is perfect for the listener who wants to chill out in a room of joss sticks and do the electric kool aid test as it evokes a time gone by of peace and love and quasi-philosophical lyrics.
